I'll admit the controls took a little getting used to, but the tutorial does a good job of showing you how to do stuff. Not your usual platformer in terms of controls but in my opinion it feels like a breath of fresh air. It's unique, the artwork is amazing, the music is very nice and semi retro feeling. I'll admit I had low expectations going in but they were immediately blown away by how amazing this game was. Very charming and cute and fun!

This game is very polished overall, with good graphics, music, and level design, but what I appreciate most are the controls. As someone who's almost strictly a console gamer, one of the biggest turn-offs for me when it comes to a lot of action games on mobile are how they control, usually because they require a good chunk of the screen to be covered up by either "virtual buttons" or your own fingers. Such is not the case with Super Cat Bros., as the controls are very simple and intuitive, and only require your two thumbs to be placed on the bottom corners of the screen. (you can even adjust the sensitivity for double-tapping) I can tell that a lot of thought and care went into this game and how it plays on a mobile device.

After having played it almost to the end, my big gripe was that it crashed/froze with the end in sight, and I lost my game. Still, fun and free with the option to dump a few bucks to make it a little faster/easier, cats are cute, and it's just challenging enough to be a good casual clicker. Very good, but not quite great.
